Raspberry Sauce
Ingredients:
16 oz Fresh or frozen raspberries
1/3 to 1/2 cup Sugar
1 tbsp Cornstarch
Procedures:
Heat the raspberries in a small saucepan just until the berried release 1 cup [250 mL] of their juice.
Press the berries through a sieve and return the juice to the saucepan.
Reserve 2 tbsp [25 mL] of the juice.

Butterscotch Sauce
Ingredients:
3 tbsp Cornstarch
1 cup Brown sugar, packed
1 cup Cold water
1 cup Boiling water
1/4 cup Butter
2 tsp Vanilla
pinch Salt
Procedures
Mix cornstarch, brown sugar and salt thoroughly in saucepan.
Stir in cold water, blending until smooth.
Stir in boiling water. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat. Stir in butter and and vanilla.
Serve hot.
