Butterscotch Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup Cold water
  • 1 cup Boiling water
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • pinch Salt

Procedures

  1. Mix cornstarch, brown sugar and salt thoroughly in saucepan.
  2. Stir in cold water, blending until smooth.
  3. Stir in boiling water. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and and vanilla.
