Sauteed Garlic Asparagus
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 to 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 bunch Fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
- 3 Garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- Mrs. Dash Original Blend
- Parmesan Cheese
Procedures:
- Over medium heat, heat butter and 1 tbsp olive oil.
- Add garlic and saute for about 1/2 a minute, stirring often so it doesn’t burn.
- Remove from pan and set aside.
- Return pan to medium heat, add 1 tbsp olive oil and the asparagus spears
- Sprinkle generously with regular Mrs. Dash, a little more olive oil, if needed, and cook until al dente. This could be about 3-4 minutes for medium stalks, lower heat to medium low, add your reserved oil and garlic.
- Stir until well coated, cover pan and let simmer for a few minutes.
- Serve with a sprinkle with lemon juice and parmesan cheese.
