Sauteed Garlic Asparagus

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 to 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 bunch Fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 3 Garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • Mrs. Dash Original Blend
  • Parmesan Cheese

Procedures:

  1. Over medium heat, heat butter and 1 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Add garlic and saute for about 1/2 a minute, stirring often so it doesn’t burn.
  3. Remove from pan and set aside.
  4. Return pan to medium heat, add 1 tbsp olive oil and the asparagus spears
  5. Sprinkle generously with regular Mrs. Dash, a little more olive oil, if needed, and cook until al dente. This could be about 3-4 minutes for medium stalks, lower heat to medium low, add your reserved oil and garlic.
  6. Stir until well coated, cover pan and let simmer for a few minutes.
  7. Serve with a sprinkle with lemon juice and parmesan cheese.
